Health Issues

There seems to be a limitless stream of illness and health conditions we should worry about.

  • High blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Cancer
  • Arthritis
  • Obesity
  • Asthma
  • Headache
  • Diabetes

All of these are prevalent in the U.S. population. Some are preventable while others may be genetic or otherwise unavoidable (i.e. environmental).

How do you prevent getting any of these illnesses? The answer may surprise you. The single biggest way to do this is with proper nutrition.

The health issues most people face today can be prevented or avoided altogether by consuming a daily nutritional supplement. The food supply DOES NOT contain the nutrient benefit our body requires on a daily basis. Hundreds of clinical studies have been performed to measure the food choices consumers like to eat, however, most of them contained little or no nutrient value. What our palates like, what we think tastes good, doesn't measure up to providing our body with the necessary fuel. Consequently, over time the body breaks down and starts to develop problems.

So if you're looking for answers to get your health back or remain healthy, consider adding a nutritional supplement. The market is flooded with hundreds of products, so choosing a product that is bioavailable - readily absorbed into your body is critical. Most pills, tablets, and capsules allow the body to absorb only around 30 to 38 percent of the nutgrient ingredients on the label. A 90 percent or higher absorption rating is necessary to receive maximum benefit. The supplement you choose should be synergistic- that is where many vitamins, minerals and amino acids are working together to enhance the performance of the product.

A single day in the hospital is more expensive that a year's supply of supplments. Stop worrying about your health and how your insurance or the government is going to help pay for it, start today at getting on a nutritional program that will pay dividends for years to come.

Are You Financially Secure?

Are you financially secure? This question hangs in the back of peoples' minds all the time. Most will say "no" in these economic times. Those that say "yes" may only be pacifying themselves because they really don't know if their nest egg is solid enough. A crack here and a crack there in their egg and suddenly everything they've worked to protect and cherish can be virtually wiped out.
Shrinking Social Security checks along with 401K's that are now 201K's and IRA's that have lost so much value that even if the stock market rebounded to improve 150 pts. per week, it would still take 3-4 years to get back everything that was lost. That means a 60 year old looking to retire at age 65 would have to work til he's 69 to get everything back that was lost.

Medical costs are skyrocketing as Uncle Sam now gets involved in the health care industry to try and regulate it. In the meantime, deductibles and medication costs have risen to their highest levels and continue to eat away at the individual's nest egg. Disease and treatments continue to rise.

One way to "insure" your health is to properly provide the "best" nutrients available today. Smarter choices on food selection will help establish a guide for better health. By doing this consistently everyday and supplementing your body with a nutritional product will ensure a healthier lifestyle for years to come.

Eating healthier, nutreint-rich foods will help provide that financial security you've been looking for. Go to http://www.nutritionbuildswellness.com/ and read how to financially secure your future!

The Flu and H1N1

All of this hype about the flu, particularly the Swine Flu or as it's professionally known as the H1N1 virus is nothing to get afraid of. There are medical doctors on both sides of the fence telling you that the H1N1 vaccine is necessary, or that it is risky because there hasn't been enough research done on it.

Here are a few steps to protect yourself agianst the flu virus:
1- Wash your hands frequently, especially after making contact with others such as being out in a public place or simply "shaking hands".

2- Get plenty of sleep. Between 6-8 hours a night is best. The body repairs itself best when it is resting.

3- Build your immune system by eating the best nutrient foods possible. Most of our food supply today is nutrient deficient because of the way it is grown and processed. Adding a daily nutritional supplement will help build your immune system to safeguard against viruses and other diseases. Be sure to take a product that is absorbed by the body. Most pills, capsules and tablets are NOT readily abosorbed by the body, therefore very little nutrient value is benefitted. If you're not sure what type of nutritional supplement to take, go to my website at www.nutritionbuildswellness.com and check out some of the products that WILL help your body build a strong immune system.

.Athritis doesn't have to be that difficult!

For those who suffer from arthritis the pain is often difficult to endure. Stiffness, the deep, sharp discomfort felt in their joints are solid reminders of this disease's effect. However, athritis can be manageable with the consumption of a nutracuetical supplement.
With daily consumption of a proper nutracuetical an individual can experience significant pain relief. In contrast to prescription medcation which often has risk, a nutracuetical has little or no risk. This is because nutracueticals are natural, food based products containing ingredients that help nourish the body against disease. As the body consumes the supplement, it repairs itself. Nutracueticals don't cure disease, but simply allows healthy cellular joint growth which helps fight progression causing further debilitating pain.
Arthaffect, a food based supplement from Reliv International is clinically, scientifically, and medically proven to help those with arthritis. It has a U.S. patent, nobody else has anything like it. It is safe and can be taken with other medications.

Fear

It can be accurately stated that in today's economic situation, most people are living daily with fear. Right now financial fear tops most individual's thoughts as people worry everyday about the security of their jobs, their retirement investments (401K's & pensions), their healthcare program, even their children's future.

For an analytical glimpse of what is happening with Social Security go to: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9A8V4080&show_article=1.

Fear is an emotional state where individuals become restricted in doing anything to help themselves. They want things better, they simply are too afraid that they will lose what little they have left.

And so as hope and dreams fade away, peoples' goals get squashed under their own cloud of fear. Negative thoughts are easier to rationalize than positive thoughts. Negative thought doesn't affect change - positive thought does affect change. Saying you can't do something is easier than saying you can do something.

Unless you live in a cave, we are surrounded with the media telling us how dismal our economy is. And because of this overkill, people safeguard themselves, even when real opportunity is presented that can actually improve their financial or health situation.

Healthcare today is losing its grip on people everyday. Listen to John Stossel of 20/20 explain in his segment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEXFUbSbg1I.

Here are some thoughts I ask others:
Is a national health care plan the ultimate answer?
If you have a serious health care problem are you prepared to handle it financially? emotionally?
Do you only hope or dream about your health or a family member's being as good as someone else's?
If you aren't healthy - feeling well on a daily basis, what can you do about it?
Are you happy?
Is your diet providing the nutritional needs for your body to be healthy/
If you could change 1 thing in your life today, what would it be?
Are sick & tired of being sick & tired?

There is hope and opportunity to those who are looking to make a change. They have no fear!

If I can answer your objections with a true assessment are you open to hearing about it?

"The only thing to fear is fear itself"- FDR

Nutrition Builds Wellness: The Most Powerful Element

Nutrition Builds Wellness: The Most Powerful Element

The Most Powerful Element

"The most powerful element in the universe is compound interest" according to noted physicist Albert Einstein. He stated this from a scientific point of view that when you analyze it, compound interest is unequivocally powerful.
Think about it for a minute. What would you rather have, $1 million dollars upfront or 1 cent that doubles everyday for 30 days?
In business, leaders CANNOT do all of the necessary tasks to be successful. So they duplicate themselves by teaching/training others to master the skills to operate a company. The president at the top teaches his vice-presidents who teach their regional managers who teach their district managers who teach their department supervisors who teach their workers to do their jobs.
In any business, conventional or MLM, success is earned by teaching/training others to become successful. Failure is inevitable when leaders stop teaching/training others.

Baby-Boomers

As the baby-boomers get older, they become wiser. Perhaps it is the 30+ years of a career that provides them experience, or perhaps it is the accessibility of information that they read more of, study closer, or simply become involved with. Whatever the reason, baby-boomers are not someone to sit around and let life pass them by. More than any other time in this country's history, baby-boomers have largely contributed to the research, develpoment and production of some of the greatest innovations of all time.
Baby-boomers love to be active. They take their health very seriously. They know that if they wait too long, it gets harder to correct later on.
Ask any baby-boomer what is the single biggesst asset they have? Overwhelmingly they respond with their HEALTH! Without it nothing matters, not money, not work. And the single biggest health factor is nutrition. You are what you eat. Baby-boomers are more conscious of what they eat because they don't want to get sick. If they get sick they can't take care of their parents, or their children. Baby-boomers don't want to see a decrease in the quality lifestyle they worked so hard to attain.
If you're looking for ways to retain that quality lifestyle you've always wanted, visit http://www.nutritionbuildswellness.com and start today on living instead of hoping.

Nutrition Builds Wellness: 8 To 10 Million

Nutrition Builds Wellness: 8 To 10 Million

8 To 10 Million

Our federal government wants to help its citizenry have access to healthcare. It is estimated that between 8 to 10 million U.S.citizens do not have any health insurance. These people are actively employed full time, however, their employer does not provide any kind of healthcare coverage. Oftentimes this leaves families financially crippled for years to pay for medical services. Many times treatments are substandard because of understaffed facilities that an individual must use because it is subsidized by the government.
Will things change with the federal government taking the lead in healthcare?
Will small businesses be able to afford the tax required to pay for this program?
Will the quality of health improve in this country that will allow its citizens a longer, more productive and better lifestyle than before?
I don't know what the answer to these questions is. Personal responsibility for one's own health is of utmost importance. If a person continues to ignore the advice from a health professional, then even the greatest healthcare program in the world will not succeed.
What do you want for yourself, your children, your grandchildren? The only people that know your body is you. Proper rest, exercise, eat a balanced diet, avoid junk food, don't smoke. These tips have been around for decades. And we're still getting sicker as a nation.
Why?
If you take care of yourself by following the above mentioned tips, then healthcare will not be such a problem for this country. But since many people chose not to, they become irresponsible to themselves and others.
So let me ask which one are you?
If you're serious about becoming healthy, then visit http://www.nutritionbuildswellness.com and start feeling better now.

Supplements! Do They Really Work?

How do you know which nutritional supplement products actually work without having to try them all? There are hundreds of manufacturers marketing their products on store shelves, on the internet, through medical professionals, and through wholesale distributorships (MLM). All of them state that if you want to stay healthy, you need to take their product.

So what works and what doesn't? How do we know what is best to use?

The answer may seem rather simple. Simply listing the ingredients on the label simply means what nutrients are present. How each nutrient works synergistic ally (together) and is absorbed by the body is critical in evaluating its effectiveness. So how is that possible to understand without trying several different products to see what works and what doesn't?

Ingredients on labels don't really mean a whole lot to the consumer, because most of us don't know the difference anyway. Many doctors don't either. Most medical doctors do not study nutrition in med school. Ingredients are listed because the law says it must be.

A supplement that is in powder form and mixed with a liquid is more likely to be absorbed easier than a pill, capsule or tablet. This is because by the time your body digests a pill or tablet, only around 35 to 40 percent is absorbed. Liquid nutrition doesn't have to be digested. The nutrients are absorbed at a greater rate, therefore providing increased benefit to the body.

Do some research on the manufacturer, and read information on the science behind their production. Marketing & advertising can be misleading, it is only designed to get you to purchase their products.

Ask for referral testimonies. Find out what others are using and ask them how they feel. This form of promotion is considered very beneficial. Word of mouth is very important.

Nutrition Builds Wellness: How Can Health Strenghten Your Future!

Nutrition Builds Wellness: How Can Health Strenghten Your Future!

How Can Health Strenghten Your Future!

This statement can be a little overwhelming. Today, it's universal everyone believes that staying healthy is essential to ensure their future. However, health statistics and medical data report that more people today are risking their health with poor diet (food choices)that has seen increases in heart disease, cancer, obesity, multiple sclerosis and diabetes to name a few.

The cost of medical care continues to skyrocket, not only costing to individuals & families, but also to businesses for "lost" productivity due to reduced worker productivity and absenteeism. Even early disability retirement results in a decrease in financial security and lifestyle. Hundreds of thousands of individuals take "early retirement" every year because of diabetes, heart disease, cancer etc... The result - higher costs passed on the consumer.

If you don't want to become one of those statistics, then start today by becoming "educated" on how to keep your health so your future isn't in jeopardy.

At www.nutritionbuildswellness.com you can learn how to ensure your health for a better tomorrow. Your future is only as good as your health. Healthy people live longer, are happier, more productive and secure!

Are you worried your health will get worse?

Are you worried that your health will get worse in the next 10 to 15 years? Are you aware that health care facilities, hospitals and clinics are being filled to capacity? And the cost can be quite shocking. If you're under insured or without any insurance coverage, that means a bigger cost out of your pocket.
If you're not worried, consider the increase cases of diseases has skyrocketed in the last 25 years. Heart disease, cancer, multiple sclerosis, fibromyelgia, COPD, virus infections, flu strains (H1N1), diverticulitis, colitis and diabetes are a few of the illnesses on the rise. Metabolic Syndrome - the precursor to diabetes is at epidemic levels in our society. Prescription drug and OTC medication consumption is at the highest level in our nation's history.
What are you doing to prevent yourself from being diagnosed with a health problem?
What are you doing to lower your risk? Eating healthier? Exercise?
While these concepts are very important to lowering your risk, here are 5 additional steps.

1- Get adequate amounts of rest. The body does most of its repair/rejuvenation during sleep.
2- Educate yourself by understanding what foods are the best/least nutritional to eat.
3- Wash your hands frequently. Majority of diseases are transmitted thru contact (touching).
4- Stay active- both physically and mentally. Even if you don't exercise regularly - stay active.
Get involved with something that keeps your mind always thinking.
5- Get a checkup with a doctor at least every 24 months for prevention.

Is Your Health Holding You Back From Doing What You Want?

Is your health holding you back from doing what you want?

Are you feeling limited in your ability to do what you'd like because of your health issues?

These are 2 questions that many folks are confronted with. They deny themselves any opportunity to experience something because their health forbids it. The denial then becomes so embedded into their daily routine, it becomes part of them. There is no hope, their dreams are stripped away. I'm sure everyone of us knows someone that sits around wishing & hoping to do something, but doesn't because their health issues are holding them back.

And this isn't just directed at older folks in their 60's or 70's.

Today, diabetes is being diagnosed in younger individuals each year, making it a challenging endeavor for the rest of their lives. The thought of playing a sport, participating in an activity such as dancing or cheerleading must be done with caution.

And it's not just diabetes; it's fibromyelgia, arthritis, irritable bowel, heart disease migraine headaches and dozens of other health issues. The emotional and financial expense can be very exhausting to most families.

But hope and opportunity is available. Knowing how to benefit from this opportunity to improve your health and provide hope is crucial.

If you're looking to change your situation, you've taken the first step.

Your health will improve, your attitude will change and others around you will notice the difference. Others will asking "what are you doing?". "You look great!" "Can I have what you have?".

Start dreaming again and stop wishing if this is truly something that can help you. It will! Hundreds of thousands of people have benefitted from daily supplementing that has given them opportunity and hope they only dreamed about! What about you?

My Grandpa's Philosophy

As a college student in the summertime I first started working for the company that my grandpa started around 1920. Over the phone he asked me a few things and one was "how is work?" I told him that I worked 12 hours yesterday and he said"you only worked half a day, remember there are 24 hours in a day and you only worked 12, that's half a day."
Another famous comment was "hard work will never seem hard as long as you enjoy what you're doing." Still another was "if you don't have your health, you don't have anything!"
These are pretty good values coming from a man that didn't have but a 4th grade education. My grandpa believed that by focusing your efforts on others, you will always be successful. During the Depression of the 1930's and during WWII, I heard from dozens of older people who said that my grandpa would buy groceries for families who were out of a job, or had a brother, son, or father killed in the war. He was always sympathetic to others who had it worse than him.
"Health is the key to everything you do" he said. "Without your health everything becomes difficult." (Strange for a man who could drink a fifth of wiskey on a Sat. night) He lived to be 94 years old. He valued his health by eating right, and he always instilled that belief in us as youngsters. "You can do anything you want if you're healthy" he said!
Today, many people are saddled with health problems. Many cannot enjoy a quality lifestyle because of their health. The limits their problems impose, both emotionally and financially often spillover to others in the family. Their dreams are all forgotten. I know I was there.
I suffered from debilitating arthritis in my back (having worked 25 yrs. in the meat packinghouse business my grandpa started) for over 20 years. Everything I tried to do was a major undertaking.
Today, I am doing much better. Thanks to the help someone shared with me. Their purpose was to help me! Simply by changing something as simple as my diet and supplementing with a powerful nutrition product, I now enjoy life. As a basketball official I just completed my 13th season and worked over 450 games the last 2 years. I'm 52 years old and I can keep up with these kids on the court night after night.
Don't take your health for granted! Visit my website at http://www.nutritionbuildswellness.com and learn how you can change your life or someone you love today.
I welcome your thoughts!

Friday, March 20, 2009

Now that March is recognized as National Nutrition Month, many schools, community service programs, hospitals and professional support institutions are providing the awareness of how nutrition provides the necessary balance of wellness in our daily life.

Hundreds of health issues such as migrane headaches, asthma, eczema, energy, joint pain, cholesterol (from A to Z) can be helped by proper nutrition. The key is BALANCE. Often we consume too much of one nutrient vitamin or mineral and lack in another causing the inbalance in our bodies. A health issue is the body's reaction to the depletion (lack) of certain nutrients, thus causing a breakdown in our body's function giving us the problems we have.

So how do you know what to take and what to avoid? Visit my website at www.nutritionbuilds wellness.com and understand that your health issue CAN be corrected with a proper nutrition program.

Nutrition Builds Wellness

It seems that everyone today understands or believes the importance of nutrition and its impact on our daily lives. Just look around; observe others around you and notice the way people are feeding their faces with food that tastes great, but has very little nutritional value. The result is overweight/obesity in humans compounding the rise in diagnosed health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer. Because of the poor nutrient quality of foods we choose to eat, people are over feeding themselves with low nutritional foods that bankrupt the body's required needed fuel to function, thereby getting that "hungry" feeling in their stomachs all to often. The explosion in health club membership participation has given notice to those who desire a healthier lifestyle only to be fooled when they continue to eat foods that are nutritionally poor in value.

I, too suffered from poor, physical health problems that was leading me down a dark road. It wasn't until I became aware of the garbage I was consuming on a daily basis was I going to be able to "change" my health concern. Proper nutrition can and does help correct many health concerns most people face. Go to nutritionbuildswellness.com and read how you too can improve your lifestyle through changes in your diet.
