What Robert Kiyosaki Says...

We have all read and listened to others who "made it big!" I'm talking about the ones who are financially successful and continue to be in front of others communicating their ideas.
Millions of Americans would love to lead this kind of life. They all see how the "owner" of the company has it made. Many want what he/she has. Big home, nice car, vacation wherever, come and go as you please... you ge the idea.
Most don't realize what the owner had to do to get where he is now. Hard work, sacrifice, risk taking (somewhat) and vision. Perhaps it's this last adjective that is the most important. A business owner's vision of what he has, what he is looking to accomplish long term allows the other descriptions of him/her to manifest itself to achieving what they want.
Many people say they want what the owner has, but aren't willing to do what it takes to achieving it. If they did they would quit their JOB (just over broke) and become what they dreamed of.
However, many don't possess the vision or self discipline to become an owner.
Today there are many opportunities for someone to become successful. Read Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad - Poor Dad. He explains many of the requirements to help people become successful.
If you desire to learn what can happen by being a business owner, contact me. I would like to help.

Words To Live By!

During this last half of 2010 many of us wonder when things are going to turn around. Economically we have been thru one of the deepest recessions since the Great Depression in 1929.
However, here are some words of wisdom, words to live by. All of us need to absorb the meaning behind each statement. So with permission from the author, Regina Brett, here are 35 life lessons:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you're sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in
touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more heal;ing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
11. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
12. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
13. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
14. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
15. Get rid everything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
16. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
17. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
18. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
19. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
20. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
21. Frame every so-called disaster with these words "In 5 years will this matter?"
22. Always choose life.
23. Growing old beats the alternative - dying young.
24. Forgive everyone everything!
25. Don't take yourself so seriously, no else does.
26. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
27. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
28. Envy is waste of time. You already have all you need.
29. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
30. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
31. What other people think of you is none of your business.
32. If we all threw our problems into a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back!
33. Yield!
34. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
35. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Nutrition And Cancer - Is There A Connection?

I have often wondered if we're winning the war on cancer. During the month of October you see the color pink being displayed everywhere. Stores have notices set up at the cashier's counter to make donations, billboards have advertisements promoting the cause, even collegiate and professional athletes are wearing pink to help promote the cause.
However, statistics show that the incidence of cancer is on the rise. Today, more than ever, more people are being diagnosed with this dreaded disease. Which leads me to wonder - is there a connection between our daily diet and being diagnosed with cancer?
Is the food supply that we feed ourselves everyday steering us to increased rates of cancer? It is estimated that in the next 10 years 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer. Will it be YOU or will it be ME?
The single biggest denominator to anyone with cancer has been the diet. What foods and how much can determine one's risk to developing cancer. Afterall, we all must eat to live. But the development and spread of cancer cells is prolonged by certain foods. Foods containing high levels of sugar, meats and dairy products will allow cancer cells to thrive. Cancer thrives in an acidic environment, typically from the water we drink. Alkaline the body reduces the spread of cancer. Eliminate the foods that foster cancer growth.

The Perfect Food

I was talking to Bob Wright, the Executive Director of the American Anti-Cancer Institute,(www.americanaci.org) about why more and more people are sick and do not seem to get better. We both agreed that when a disease is diagnosed, medical treatments to help a patient recover treat the symptoms and not the problem.
Why is it that everyone understands and believes in proper nutrition to stay healthy, actually never practice what they believe in.
Nutrition is considered an"alternative treatment" when addressing a health issue. Why is it? It shouldn't be called "alternative", but "primary" treatment instead. It should be the way we eat and live by everyday.
The perfect food is one that supplies the body the optimal daily nutritients to allow it to perform the way it was intended to. Consuming the proper amount of fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains everyday will help fuel the body to perform. But who does that? Most are undisciplined and therefore become deficient in nutrients which allows for health problems to arise.
Mixing and matching varitites of supplements do not allow for the absorption and performance of each vitamin. So what do you do?
The Reliv products (http://www.reliv.com/US/EN/Products.html) are considered as close to the perfect food. Reliv products are food, not some vitamins mixed together. It is a perfectly blended balance of nutrients providing optimal levels of nutrition made easily to absorb (bioavailable). This is how our bodies should eat.
For those who don't understand this concept, take a look around and notice how unhealthy people are. And for those with a health issue and still do not understand this, how did you get to where you're at today? What created your problem?

Open Forum Discussion

I decided to participate in an open forum discussion that participants submited statements and asked others to respond. One such topic had over 98 comments elicited (and we're not done yet)!
The topic was do nutritional supplements really work? Man did people come out firing on that. The " yes they do"," no hey don't" comments really started to fly.
I want to start off saying I respect other peoples' comments, but only to a point of truth and accuracy.
Most manufacturers do not go off making claims about their products curing or diagnosing illnesses. It's the distributors doing that because they have such a financial interest in whether someone takes their product or not. This poor training or wrongful deceitful way of doing business gives all companies that manufacture supplements (in MLM) a "black eye."
I'm sure that you have or know of someone who has been approached by a distributor who says something like"these are the greatest products in world" and will "have you feeling 20 years younger."
Unfortunately as long as there are nutrition manufacturers in the MLM industry there will be distributors making silly statements.
With the proper training and the strong leadership of a company, a distributor will enjoy success in business. Integrity and ethics are very crucial to the day -to-day operation for a company to remain in the forefront. Promotion and acknowledgement of these 2 values are constant reminders of the responsibility needed to provide the best value to consumers.
There is one company that has taken these 2 values and fortified its position as a rock solid leader in the industry. Reliv International has been a leader in manufacturing nutritional supplements that adhere to the highest standard within the industry. Reliv was the first company to be granted a patent on a food supplement, and has since earned 6 additional patents.

Health Issues

There seems to be a limitless stream of illness and health conditions we should worry about.

  • High blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Cancer
  • Arthritis
  • Obesity
  • Asthma
  • Headache
  • Diabetes

All of these are prevalent in the U.S. population. Some are preventable while others may be genetic or otherwise unavoidable (i.e. environmental).

How do you prevent getting any of these illnesses? The answer may surprise you. The single biggest way to do this is with proper nutrition.

The health issues most people face today can be prevented or avoided altogether by consuming a daily nutritional supplement. The food supply DOES NOT contain the nutrient benefit our body requires on a daily basis. Hundreds of clinical studies have been performed to measure the food choices consumers like to eat, however, most of them contained little or no nutrient value. What our palates like, what we think tastes good, doesn't measure up to providing our body with the necessary fuel. Consequently, over time the body breaks down and starts to develop problems.

So if you're looking for answers to get your health back or remain healthy, consider adding a nutritional supplement. The market is flooded with hundreds of products, so choosing a product that is bioavailable - readily absorbed into your body is critical. Most pills, tablets, and capsules allow the body to absorb only around 30 to 38 percent of the nutgrient ingredients on the label. A 90 percent or higher absorption rating is necessary to receive maximum benefit. The supplement you choose should be synergistic- that is where many vitamins, minerals and amino acids are working together to enhance the performance of the product.

A single day in the hospital is more expensive that a year's supply of supplments. Stop worrying about your health and how your insurance or the government is going to help pay for it, start today at getting on a nutritional program that will pay dividends for years to come.
